Bilona Ghee is not made directly from the milk cream.
It is obtained by churning the curd with the help of bilona.
Only milk from local cows is used for Bilona Ghee.

New Delhi. Ghee is given a lot of importance in our country. We’d rather eat ghee than butter. The best quality of this ghee is Bilona Ghee. The method of making it is different from other methods of making ghee. It is very hard and dedicated work. Because of this, Bilona Ghee is very expensive compared to other ghees. Today we are going to talk about the difference between ordinary ghee and bilona ghee and the earning opportunities that come with it.

Bilona Ghee is only made from the milk of local cattle breeds. They are also called A2 breed cows. The breed of these cows is considered pure. That is why this ghee is also called A2 ghee. There is no restriction for these cows. They are allowed to browse freely. Bilona Ghee is not made by machine. It is prepared by continuously stirring it with a traditional device called a bilona.

How do you make Bilona Ghee?
A2 cow’s milk is first processed into quark. Quark from A2 cow’s milk in milk is also used to make quark. After making curd, ghee starts making ghee again from there. By putting ghee in a pot, it is continuously agitated with a bilona. This is a long process. This is done until the butter separates from the curd. Now this butter is put in a pot and boiled for hours on the fire of the stove. After all these processes are completed, Bilona Ghee is ready. It takes about 30 hours from start to finish to prepare one kilogram of Binola Ghee. This is why Bilona Ghee is so expensive. The price of this 1kg ghee goes up to Rs.3000.

How much income from business?
People living in rural areas can easily start this work compared to cities. In villages people usually have desi cows. If they prepare Bilona Ghee according to the above method, it is obvious that they will fetch a high price in the market. Making Bilona Ghee requires more physical effort and patience than the capital cost. Kamaljit Kaur, who lives in Mumbai, started Bilona Key’s business during Covid-19. She tells that it took her 8 lakh rupees to prepare the facility there. But she now earns Rs 20 lakh every year. You can earn more than 50% direct profit in Bilona Ghee business.
