The single seater bike from TVS, the features are cool, you will be tempted to know the price

New Delhi. TVS Motor Company has added a single seater variant to its Raider 125cc commuter bike range priced at Rs 93,719 (ex showroom). This is the new base variant as the company has discontinued the drum version which was available for Rs. 86,803. The new TVS Raider single seat variant is available in a single striking red color scheme. Now the bike model range comes in three variants – Single Seat, Split Seat (Rs 94,719) and SX (Rs 1,00,820). All prices ex showroom.

Speaking of features, the new TVS Raider single seat variant offers a reverse LCD screen. You get SmartXonnect with the segment first 5 inch TFT screen only with the top end spec which costs Rs 1 lakh. No changes were made to the bike. Similar to the other two variants, the new TVS Raider single-seat version is powered by the same 124.8cc single-cylinder engine. The engine delivers a maximum of 11.4 hp and a torque of 11.2 Nm. It will get a 5-speed gearbox and two power modes – Power and Eco. The bike is based on a frame with a down tube and comes with telescopic forks and monoshock rear suspension. Braking power comes from a 240mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear.

Reports suggest that TVS Motor Company is working on two new bikes that will use a 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, reverse-tilt engine. The upcoming bikes will be based on the TVS Apache RR 310. There will also be a new TVS adventure bike to challenge the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The brand plans to launch bikes from 600cc to 750cc and one of them could get a twin-cylinder engine with more displacement and 47 hp.
