However, Honda had started to gain a foothold in the market with the introduction of the Shine. But the first position was always occupied by Splendor. But now Honda will do something that could pose a big problem for Splendor and Pulsar. Honda is currently preparing to launch a new 160cc motorcycle. This motorcycle may be launched on Diwali under the Honda Sp 160 name.

It is announced that the motorcycle will be built entirely on the Honda Unicorn platform. Even its engine will be the same as the Unicorn. Although the design will be all new, the company is adding a few new features to this bike along with some new features.

good performance
In this Honda motorcycle, the company will supply a single-cylinder, air-cooled 162.7 cc engine. This engine will produce a power of 12.9 hp. At the same time, a maximum torque of 14 Nm is generated. The company will equip the bike with a 5-speed gearbox. In addition, it is believed that the company may also make some technical changes to the motorcycle’s engine, which may increase its mileage. This engine currently achieves a mileage of more than 60 km/h.

Design will be different
Honda’s new motorcycle will be significantly different from the unicorn. The design of the fuel tank has also been redesigned and will hold 12 litres. However, the weight of the bike will be higher and will be 141 kg. At the same time, there will be 17-inch wheels on this bike. The bike gets front disc and rear drum brakes. At the same time, the company can launch its two variants. It is believed to be importable between 1.09 and 1.25 lakh rupees. While the company has yet to announce its price or specs, it’s believed that the company will be able to announce them in August.
