Royal Enfield’s “Bhokal” will end, the introduction of three new bikes will change the whole game

New Delhi. Royal Enfield is India’s best-selling brand of retro motorcycles. The company does extremely well in exports and has maintained its strong market position with double-digit growth. Royal Enfield dominates the 350cc-500cc engine segment. Now other two-wheeler companies are also preparing to curb Royal Enfield’s dominance in the Indian market.

In the 350cc-500cc segment, new bikes will now compete with Royal Enfield’s bikes. Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCorp will launch new models in partnership with Triumph and Harley-Davidson, respectively, to reduce Royal Enfield’s dominance in the segment.

Bajaj made preparations
Bajaj-Triumph’s Speed ​​400 and Scrambler 400 recently had their world premiere in London. Both bikes will go on sale in India on July 5th. Harley-Davidson brings the X440 roadster, which is produced in cooperation with the company Hero MotoCorp. This bike will be launched on July 3rd.

Triumph speed
The Triumph Speed ​​shares some of its design cues with the Speed ​​Twin 900 and the Scrambler 400X looks similar to the Scrambler 900. Both bikes are powered by a new liquid-cooled single-cylinder 398cc engine developing 40hp and torque 37.5 Nm generated. The bike was given a 6-speed gearbox.

Harley Davidson X440
The Harley-Davidson X440 will be the cheapest Harley in India. The bike is powered by an air/oil-cooled 440cc single-cylinder engine which is expected to be more powerful than the Royal Enfield Classic 350. The production model will be fitted with MRF tires with a retro tread pattern. At the front, the new Harley gets a round headlight with a DRL bar in the middle. It will feature round turn signals, a fully digital instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity.
