Java Yezdi: Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has announced new color options for two of its popular and best-selling models, the Jawa 42 Sports Stripe and Yezdi Roadster. The Jawa 42 Sports Stripe will now be available in a new Metallic Cosmic Carbon shade and will cost ₹1.95 lakh, while the Yezdi Roadster has been launched in a new two-tone Crimson shade with a gloss finish. The price is ₹2.04 lakh ex showroom.
The Jawa 42 is powered by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 294.72cc engine capable of producing 27 hp and 26.84 Nm of peak torque. The bike gets a 6-speed gearbox. The Yezdi Roadster, on the other hand, gets a 334 cc single-cylinder engine with 29 hp and 28.95 Nm maximum torque. It gets a 6-speed gearbox. Both bikes are equipped with disc brakes and dual-channel ABS. For the suspension, telescopic forks and double shock absorbers are available at the rear.

These are the new color options
Jawa says the new 42 Sports Stripe Cosmic Carbon will get a carbon fiber finish. The two-tone Yezdi Roadster, on the other hand, gets a crimson and crimson color scheme that adds to the styling of the bike. Apart from that, the company has also announced that it will expand its dealer network to 500 stores by the end of calendar year 2023. To date, the company has a total of 400 showrooms across the country.

The Jawa 42 is a cruiser bike available in India with a starting price of Rs 1,74,573. It is available in 3 variants and 10 colors. The price of the top variant starts from Rs 1,96,374. 2.03.193 Yezdi Roadster is a road bike available in India with a starting price of Rs. It is available in 6 variants and 8 colors, the price of the top variant starts from Rs 2,11,479.
Royal Enfield sales reduced
Royal Enfield also recently introduced the new Super Meteor 650 bike to the Indian market. The initial price of this bike was kept at Rs 3.48 lakh showroom-ex. It is sold in 2 variants and 7 color options. Royal Enfield recently reported that the company’s sales fell 7 percent in December 2022. The company had sold 73,739 bikes a year ago but was only able to sell 68,400 bikes last month.
