The infection can bother positive corona patients for a long time. It is claimed that the virus does not leave the patient behind for about a year and a half. The researchers warned that the risk of death persists for up to 18 months after infection. According to a study published in the journal Cardiovascular, people exposed to the coronavirus are more likely to develop heart disease than those who are not infected. Experts estimate that such patients should be monitored for about a year. Compared to an uninfected person, a corona patient is 81 times more likely to die within the first three weeks of infection and five times more after 18 months. This research was carried out during the first wave of Corona.
