TVS Motor Company recently launched the single seater version of the TVS Raider sport bike in India. It is now the cheapest version of the Raider since the drum variant has been discontinued. This means that the Raider now comes standard with a windscreen. The Raider single seat is priced at Rs 93,719. Sales of the split seat variant and the SX variant with top equipment will also continue. Their price is ₹94,719 and ₹1,00,820. All prices ex showroom.
The Split Seat and Single Seat variants are almost identical. There is a big difference in color and seat design. As the name suggests, the single-seat variant comes with a one-piece seat that is said to be more comfortable and roomy than the split seat, giving more space for rider and passenger. Apart from that, the single-seat variant is only sold in Striking Red color while the split variant is sold in Fairy Yellow, Blazing Blue, Striking Red and Wicked Black. The top-end SX variant is only offered in Fiery Yellow and Wicked Black color schemes.

The new variant gets disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The single-split variant uses a downtube frame with telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. The Raider weighs only 123 kg and has a ground clearance of 180 mm. It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels shod with tubeless tires. In terms of equipment, the Raider comes with single-seat LED lighting, helmet alert lights, kickstand kill, under-seat storage, a USB charger and an LCD screen.

The TVS Raider is powered by an air-oil-cooled 124.8cc engine that produces 11.22 hp at 7,500 rpm and maximum torque of 11.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. In addition, there are 2 driving modes available in the Raider. This bike can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 5.9 seconds.
