Ola Electric will now completely change the front wheel suspension of the S1 Scooter. The good thing is that customers will not be charged for this update. Ola electric scooters are one of the best selling electric two wheelers in the Indian market. Excellent design and very good equipment are available with this scooter.
Ola Electric announced on March 14 that it is offering buyers to upgrade its scooters with new front forks for safety reasons. The ride-sharing company said there were some concerns among buyers about the safety of the Ola S1’s front fork arm. Because of this, it was decided to update the front fork.

The company will contact customers
On the other hand, the company has also said that the talk of front suspension failure being said about the scooter is unfounded. At Ola, all components of our scooters, including the front arm, are thoroughly tested under multiple conditions. Apart from that, the scooter is also tested by being ridden at high speed and heavy load. Ola said the upgrade will be free and the appointment window starts on March 22nd. The company will be reaching out to customers shortly with a detailed procedure for making an appointment.

In the past there have been many cases of front suspension breakage while riding Ola scooters. For this reason, the company has come under criticism several times. Both the Ola electric scooters Ola S1 and S1 Pro are equipped with a single fork suspension at the front. However, the cheaper electric scooter S1 Air, which was released last year, is equipped with a telescopic (double) fork suspension. That’s why the company is changing the suspension of the S1 electric scooter.
