Talat has started her own brand, Roohposh, and uses lavender oil in various skin care products. He said that lavender tea is very popular abroad. Its oil is also used for body massage in many countries.

Lavender cultivation also creates jobs for local youth and women. Seerat Jan, a Pulwama resident who has been growing lavender for three years, said we earn about 370 rupees if we collect at least a quintal of raw material every day. 30-35 women and some men also work here. Our livelihood depends on it.
