If you’re looking to buy Hero’s two-wheeler then pocket deep because starting July 3rd, bike scooter prices are set to skyrocket.

New Delhi. If you’re thinking about buying a Hero bike or scooter, you might have to pay more money now. Hero MotoCorp, the country’s largest two-wheeler maker, has prepared to hike prices on bikes and scooters starting July 3. According to the company, the decision to increase the price was made due to increased production costs. The company will increase vehicle prices by up to 1.5%, depending on the model and variant.

Hero MotoCorp said in a statement, “The increase in motorcycle and scooter prices is part of the pricing review the Company conducts from time to time, taking into account various factors such as price positioning, input costs and business needs.” Offer financing options to minimize customer impact. The company said the onset of monsoons in most parts of the country and broader economic indicators are good signs of a pick-up in demand and it expects industrial volumes to pick up, heralding the approaching holiday season.

Prices went up in April
We tell you that in April this year the company increased the prices of its vehicles by 2%. The last price increase came with the introduction of OBD-2 standards as part of BS6 Phase-2. This year, Hero MotoCorp launched Passion Plus in the commuter segment and Xtreme 160R 4V in the premium commuter segment. At the same time, the company is preparing to relaunch its iconic Karizma bike.

We are preparing for new models
Hero MotoCorp is set to launch the Karizma ZMR 210. This is the company’s premium commuter bike and will feature a 200cc engine and many modern features. The company may launch Karizma later this year.

We tell you that Hero is preparing to launch the Harley Davidson X440 in India on July 3rd. This bike was developed in collaboration between Hero and Harley-Davidson. In the Indian market, it will compete with the Benelli Imperiale 400 and the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
