New features of Honda Dio

A normal key is no longer included with the scooter, which is why there is no socket for attaching the key. You will receive a remote control key for locking and unlocking, just like with a car. The smart key has a button to start and stop the scooter. This function works when the scooter is within 2 meters.

In addition to the smart key function, the company also offers an immobilizer for the scooter. If you move away from a distance of 2 meters with the key of the scooter, the scooter will be locked automatically. Since the scooter cannot be opened with an ordinary key, its security is increased many times over. With the help of this key you can unlock the seat, the fuel cap and the handle of the scooter.

In ignition mode, to start the scooter, it is necessary to press the rotary button present in the scooter and press the self-start button. However, this can only happen if you have the smart key with you.

Speaking of other updates to the Honda Dio, the company is offering matte black alloy wheels in the new Smart Key variant. Otherwise, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and rear lights are present as in the standard variant. The company has given the scooter an external gas cap, an overtake switch and a front storage bag.

engine and performance
As for the engine, the company hasn’t made any changes to the engine of the H-smart variant. It features the same 109.51cc single-cylinder, air-cooled single-cylinder engine as before, producing 7.95 hp and 9 Nm of torque. This scooter has a combined braking system with drum brakes.
