New Delhi. Hero MotoCorp has reduced the price of its popular Vida V1 Electric Scooter. Now this scooter has become cheaper by Rs 25,000. Now the entry level of this scooter costs Rs 1.03 lakh. While the price of V1 Pro is now Rs 1.20 lakh. This price includes the FAME II grant.
The Hero Vida V1 electric scooter comes with a replaceable battery. It is offered with 2 battery packs – 3.44 kWh for the V1 Plus and 3.94 kWh for the V1 Pro. The former offers a certified range of 143 km on a single charge, while the V1 Pro can travel up to 165 km on a single charge. The V1 Pro and V1 Plus can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 3.4 seconds respectively. The company states that the e-scooter offers a top speed of 80 km/h.

power and performance
The battery of the electric motor generates 6 kW (8 hp) and 25 Nm of torque. However, the available continuous power is 5.2 hp. The new Vida V1 gets 3 driving modes – Eco, Ride and Sport. The top-of-the-line V1 Pro also gets a custom mode that offers over 100 features as per the rider’s needs. The scooter also has a limp mode that reduces the top speed by 20 km/h when the battery capacity is less than 10%. The scooter runs on Eco and only drives with less than 20% battery capacity. There’s also a SuperSport mode that activates over 95% of the throttle input.

battery and charging
The battery of the scooter can be charged in 3 ways. It has two removable batteries that can be charged at home. The V1 Plus battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 5 hours and 15 minutes. It also gets a portable charging option, allowing the battery to be charged in the parking lot. The electric scooter also supports fast charging and is said to have a range of 1.2 km per minute. Hero currently sells the Vida V1 electric scooter in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Nagpur, Nashik, New Delhi and Pune. The company plans to expand its distribution to 100 cities later this year.
