Hero has no answer, launched the 160cc motorcycle as the “fastest” motorcycle, the features are also strong

New Delhi. Hero MotoCorp unveiled the highly anticipated Hero Xtreme 160R 4V on Wednesday. It was launched in the Indian market at a price of 1.27 lakh rupees. The 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R is recognized as the fastest and lightest bike in the 160cc segment. In the Indian market, it will compete with cars like the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS160.

engine power
The new Xtreme 160R 4V is powered by a new 163.2cc, 4-valve, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine capable of producing 16.9 hp at 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 14.6 Nm at 6600 rpm. This engine is connected to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is built on a tubular underbody diamond frame with a box swing arm. The previous model with a 2V motor delivered 15.2 hp and 14 Nm of torque.

In contrast to the conventional telescopic units of the current model, the motorcycle has an upside-down front fork. The rear has a mono shock absorber unit with adjustable preload. For braking, the 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V has disc brakes on both wheels and single-channel ABS is standard. The standard variant has a conventional telescopic suspension at the front and a 7-stage adjustable monoshock at the rear.

latest features
The 2023 Hero seat height of the bike is 795mm and the ground clearance is 165mm. The motorcycle has Bluetooth connectivity through the LCD console. It now features a sportier split seating arrangement instead of the previous model’s one-piece unit. The bike also features a redesigned switchgear.
