How to grow mushrooms

Mushrooms can be grown by setting up three racks three feet wide in an area at least 40 feet by 30 feet. You can start this business with the help of government grants.

how to make compost
To make compost, rice straw needs to be soaked, and after a day, add DAP, urea, potash, wheat bran, gypsum, and carbofudoran to allow it to decompose. The compost is ready after about a month and a half. Now evenly mix cow manure and soil, spread about an inch and a half thick layer on top and place a two to three inch layer of compost on top. To maintain moisture in it, the mushroom is sprayed with a spray 2-3 times a day. A 5 cm thick layer of compost is laid on top of this. This is how mushroom production begins.

Mushroom cultivation training is available at all agricultural universities and agricultural research centers. If you plan to do this on a large scale, it’s better to train it properly once. But at the moment Rajesh is growing mushrooms and spending around five to six lakhs on it. He says that by investing just one lakh, farmers can earn around three to three and a half lakh rupees in four to five months by growing mushrooms.
