Government sources told TOI that the maximum amount Ola can receive is about 370 crore rupees. Ather can get around 275 crore rupees, TVS around 150 crore rupees, Hero MotoCorp can get around 28-30 crore rupees.

What is FAME?
A few years ago, the government introduced the FAME subsidy (Faster Adoption of Electric Vehicles in India) to promote electric vehicles. In 2019, it was first introduced by the government and people received grants to buy electric vehicles. The government has set it at 10,000 rupees per kilowatt. To further promote it, the government introduced Fame 2 in 2021. Under Fame 2, the subsidy amount was increased, increasing from 10,000 to 15,000 rupees per kilowatt.
