Measures due to increasing environmental pollution.
New Delhi. There is great news for people using pedicabs in Delhi. Now the Delhi government is making a big change in their aggregator policy. The final draft is almost ready. According to the information, the government only wants to use electric two-wheelers as bicycle taxis in the state capital. The government made this decision in the face of increasing pollution.
According to a TV9 report, the government has taken several steps to reduce the ever-increasing pollution from petrol and diesel vehicles, and one of them is now to focus on electric vehicle purchases and increased use. It is worth noting that electric vehicles effectively fulfill the zero emission mission and due to their increasing use, the level of pollution is also considered to be very low.

Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot shared information in this regard, saying that besides two-wheelers, the aggregator policy for three-wheelers and four-wheelers is also being changed and is in the final stages. He said it will be completed soon and implemented immediately. Those who already have electric vehicles will benefit most from this policy from the government in Delhi. Significantly, the Delhi government is also taking action against private two-wheelers being used commercially. If in such a situation it is found that a person violates these rules, strict measures will be taken against him. Besides cutting their challan, the vehicle can also be confiscated.
On the other hand, a Department of Transportation official said it was difficult to identify such vehicles, although action was being taken. Such vehicles are used under private registration, which is why they do not have a company number or a separate license plate or sticker. In such a situation, it is difficult to catch them.
