Car and bike price: Many car and bicycle companies in the country will increase the prices of their vehicles starting next month, ie April. Manufacturers have attributed the price increase to increased inflation in the market, as well as regulatory requirements such as BS6 Phase II. To do this, the vehicles must comply with the strict emission standards. Companies have started to adapt their range of models to the new requirements.
From April 1, new vehicles will be equipped with on-board self-diagnostics devices to monitor emission levels in real time while driving. The device continuously monitors key parts of the vehicle such as the catalytic converter and oxygen sensor to meet emissions standards.

Hero MotoCorp is also increasing the ex-showroom prices of its two-wheeler lineup starting next month. The exact amount of the price increase varies by model and market. Tata Motors commercial vehicle prices will also be increased by up to 5% in advance of BS6 Phase II standards.
