Maruti Fronx launch
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has unveiled the Baleno-based Franks and five-door Jimny at Auto Expo 2023. The compact coupe SUV will be available around March or April 2023 and pre-orders have started through authorized Nexa dealers and online. The Maruti Suzuki Franks features an upright front and rear fascia, roof rails and a wide hood structure, muscular fenders and side body panels. The front fascia reveals the signature grille section adorned with chrome and crystal block LED daytime running lights, and at the rear, the wide LED rear combination lamps span the width of the car.

Powerful engine from Maruti Fronx
It also gets a bold geometric design with dual finishes for the alloys. The cabin has a black color scheme. The K-Series 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged, direct-injection booster jet features mild hybrid technology for the first time. This engine can produce 100 hp of power and 147.6 Nm of torque. While customers can choose the K-Series 1.2-litre dual-jet, dual-VVT engine with Idle Start/Stop technology, it is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT gearbox coupled. This engine develops 90 hp of maximum power and 113 Nm of torque.

The Delta variant gets all the features of the Sigma variant aside from a chrome front grille, turn signals on ORVMs, a rear luggage rack, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, OTR updates, a sound system with four Speakers, electrically adjustable ORVMs, steering wheel with mounted controls, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto SmartPlay Pro connectivity, voice support.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx is offered in five variants including Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha. The price of this car is likely to be between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 14 lakh. While the Alpha variant gets all the features of the Zeta variant, apart from cruise control, head-up display, 360-degree camera, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, two-tone exterior blinds and leather steering wheel.
