The Platina 100 gets an air-cooled 102cc single-cylinder DTS-i engine with E-carburetor. It produces 7.9 hp at 7500 rpm and 8.3 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. This engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The Platina 100 is quite feature rich for a 100cc bike. LED DRLs can also be seen in the bike despite the halogen headlight. The seat is quite long and tall and comes with a pair of large footboards. There is also an analog console. The company claims that the bike will achieve a mileage of up to 70 kilometers per liter.

Bike is cool for bad roads too
The Bajaj Platina 100 gets a single cradle frame with telescopic forks. Spring-in-spring dual rear shock setup improves ride quality. In terms of braking hardware, it gets a 130mm drum at the front and a 110mm unit at the rear, with the safety net of a combined braking system. Tubeless tires are also available on the bike. Bajaj Platina is one of the most affordable 100cc motorcycles in the country. In the Indian market, this bike competes with Hero Splendor Plus and Hero HF Deluxe.
