At the moment, the company has not given any information about the launch in India.
New Delhi. Now the world’s largest luxury car manufacturer, BMW, has entered the market for electric two-wheelers. The company has launched its CE 02 electric scooter on the global market. The scooter has been in the spotlight since its inception and the reason for that is the price. The company launched this scooter at an initial price of US$7599 or Rs.6.3 lakh rupees. As always, BMW put a lot of emphasis on the looks and gave it a very pretty design.
The range of this scooter, designed for city traffic, is only 45 kilometers. However, the scooter has the option of a single and double battery, which allows you to double its range. However, you have to pay a higher price for it.

When will it come in India?
At this time, the company has not provided any information on the arrival of CE 02 in India. However, the company is believed to be able to launch this scooter in India within a year. However, according to the Indian market, the price is quite high and scooters of this class are available in the country for less than 100,000 rupees. However, you can see many features on this BMW scooter.
Can increase range
According to the company, the CE 02 was given a 2 kWh battery pack, which enables a range of 45 kilometers and a top speed of 45 kilometers per hour. If, on the other hand, you take the dual-battery variant, this range increases to 90 kilometers. The single battery scooter was introduced in European countries with a focus on teenagers. In European countries, a driver’s license is only required from a maximum speed of 45 km/h. In India, however, this speed limit is 25 km/h.
The speed increases with the double battery
At the same time, in addition to the range of the dual battery version of the scooter, the top speed has also been doubled. Its top speed is up to 95 kilometers per hour. At the same time, it takes 3 hours to charge the single-battery variant and almost 5.12 hours to fully charge the dual-battery variant. In addition to the dual-battery variant, the company also offers a 1.5 kW fast charger. This greatly reduces the charging time and it can be fully charged in 3.30 hours.
