New Delhi. The demand for scooters among Indian buyers is as great as for motorcycles. The driving comfort of the scooter is retained, the annoying switching is no longer necessary and the journey remains problem-free. Brands like Honda to Suzuki, TVS and Hero Motorcorp sell different scooters in the market. There are many options on the market from 110 to 125 cc.
Hero MotoCorp recently launched their Xoom 110 scooter in India and it is the company’s latest sporty looking scooter. Design-wise, the Hero Zoom 110 features H-shaped LED daytime running lights and projector LED headlights. One of its main features is the cornering light, which is not found on other scooters in this segment. This makes the Xoom the world’s first and only 110cc scooter to be equipped with cornering lights.

It is powered by a 109cc fuel-injected single-cylinder engine capable of producing 8hp and 8.7Nm of maximum torque. The Hero Zoom scooter weighs 109 kg, has telescopic front forks and a single rear shock absorber and offers a decent mileage of 45-50 km/h.

Prices for the scooter start at Rs 69,099 for the base LX variant and go up to Rs 77,199 for the top ZX variant. All prices quoted are from the Delhi showroom. It competes in the Indian market with scooters like Honda Dio, Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter 110.
