The Yamaha R15 V4 Dark Night Edition features a black body paint finish with gold accents, giving it an attractive look. The aluminum rims of the bike get gold paint and the people get gold highlights. Currently, the R15 V4 is available in four colors: Red (1.81 lakh rupees), Dark Knight (1.82 lakh rupees), Blue and “Intensity White” (1.86 lakh rupees).

The company hasn’t made any changes to the R15 V4 Dark Night Edition’s engine and performance, it has the same features and design as its standard model. Speaking of the engine, the R15 V4 Dark Night Edition uses the same 155cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine that produces 18.4 hp and 14.2 Nm of torque. The bike has a 6-speed gearbox with a sleeper clutch.

The company relies on a Delta Box frame for the R15 V4, which gives the bike excellent stability. For more comfort, the bike has a USD telescopic fork at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. For more safety, this bike is equipped with a double disc brake and a two-channel ABS.

In terms of price, the Yamaha R15 V4 competes in the Indian market with the Suzuki Gixxer SF250 (1.92 to 2.02 lakh rupees) and the KTM RC 200 (2.18 lakh rupees). Hero MotoCorp plans to launch the full fairing Karizma XMR soon to compete with the Yamaha R15 V4 in this segment.
