New Delhi. If you want to make a safe investment then this is the best time to invest in Fixed Deposit (FD). As of today, banks give good interest rates for investments in FD. Now take this 888-day FD from Equitas Small Finance Bank, it’s earning up to 9 percent interest.

In fact, Equitas Small Finance Bank has changed interest rates on FDs of less than Rs 2 crore. The bank offers customers the opportunity to invest in FDs for a period of 7 days to 10 years. The bank gives ordinary people a maximum interest rate of 8.5 percent and seniors up to 9 percent on 888-day FD. According to the bank’s official website, the new FD interest rates came into effect on April 11, 2023.

Equitas Small Finance Bank FD interest rates
Equitas Small Finance Bank is now paying 3.50% interest on FDs with a term of 7 to 29 days. The bank pays 4 percent interest on FDs with a term of 30 to 45 days. At the same time, the bank pays interest rates of 4.50 percent and 5.25 percent for FDs with maturities of 46 to 90 days and 91 to 180 days, respectively. The bank pays 6.25 percent interest on FDs with a term of 181 days to 364 days and 8.20 percent interest on FDs with a term of 1 year to 18 months.

The pace of repo rate rise halted after 6 consecutive tremors
Recently, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) brought great relief to the common man. In fact, at the first MPC meeting of the new financial year, it was announced that the repo rate would remain stable. The repo rate was kept at 6.50 percent. Previously, the RBI had increased the repo rate by 2.50 percent from May 2022 to February 2023.
