Central government gives opportunity to open Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra to offer generic drugs. The government will also help you with this.
There are three categories to open Jan Aushadhi Kendra. Any person in a category who has the above degree/diploma or is a doctor can apply for Jan Aushadhi Kendra. After that, all trusts, NGOs and private hospitals can also apply. In the third category, providers named by the state governments are given the opportunity to open centers. The central government does this work under Pradhan Mantri Jan Bhartiya Janaushadhi Yojana (PMJAY).

You can apply for this by downloading the form from Janaushadhi Center official website http://janaushadhi.gov.in/. You are granted the license to sell medicines on behalf of Jan Aushadhi Kendra here. After that, you need to submit the application on behalf of the General Manager of the Bureau of Pharma Public Sector Undertaking of India.

Your shop name is Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra. You get up to 20 percent commission on the sale of medicines in this shop. In addition, each month you receive a separate 15% bonus on the sales you make. The government gives you an aid of Rs 1.5 lakh to put furniture and other items in the shop. Apart from that, an additional aid of Rs 50,000 will be given for you to buy computers and printers to generate bills.
