Hero Super Splendor XTEC: There’s good news for those buying a new commuter bike. Hero MotoCorp, the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched the hi-tech, feature-packed variant of India’s best-selling bike, the Super Splendor. The starting price of the Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2023 in India has been kept at Rs 83,368. It also gets a full-LED headlight, a digital instrument cluster, and a few other new features.
The Super Splendor is a premium and larger engine variant of the most popular Splendor bike. Hero MotoCorp has given the bike a 125cc engine instead of the regular 100cc and 110cc engine found in their little bike. The Splendor has been Hero’s best-selling bike for almost two decades and is important to the company as a brand. India Bikes are loved for their reliability and good average ratings.

Well, what’s new about the bike?
Hero MotoCorp offers the Super Splendor XTEC in three color options. These include Gloss Black, Candy Blazing Red, and Matt Axis Gray options. Speaking of features, it will get advanced features like a full LED headlight and a USB charging point. There’s also a new digital instrument cluster that shows when the petrol level is low, real-time odometer reading and even a host of information including Bluetooth connectivity.

The motor of the bike is very powerful
The Super Splendor is the best selling motorcycle in India in the 125cc segment. The Super Splendor XTEC gets an air-cooled, fuel-injected, 124.7cc single-cylinder engine, which is also available in the regular variant. This engine produces 10.7 hp at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The mileage of the bike is around 68 kilometers per liter.
What does the bike cost?
The new Hero Super Splendor XTEC was presented in two variants. The front drum brake version is priced at Rs 83,368 while the front disc brake variant is priced at Rs 87,268 ex showroom Delhi. In comparison, the price of the standard model of Super Splendor ranges from Rs 79,118 to Rs 83,248 from the Delhi showroom.
