New Delhi. Suzuki has increased the competition in the market by excellently updating its scooter portfolio. The company launched Access 125, Avnis and Burgman Street with engine updates. The special feature: All three scooters are now E20-capable, i.e. can be operated with E20 petrol. However, apart from the engine update, no other major changes have been made to all three. In this new range, the engine has been developed with OBD2-A standards in mind. In simple language, they have been made to pollute very little and send the information to the driver through the app after reading the real-time data of CO2 emissions. OBD stands for On Board Diagnostic, which detects dirt and other problems and informs the driver.
In addition, all three scooters have been given new colors. The company has given Avnis the colors Sonic Silver and Metallic Triton Blue. The Burgman, on the other hand, is Pearl Matte Shada Green in color. Access was also added in the color Sonic Silver. Speaking of the scooter’s engine, all three have a 125cc engine that produces 8.5hp and 10Nm of torque. Now Suzuki will shortly renew the engines of its motorcycle range. After the updates that these three scooters have received from Suzuki, they will create a lot of competition for other companies. Suzuki’s scooters will particularly challenge the Honda Activa.

Measures for green mobility
Devashish Handa, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India said that the 125cc engine coming in Suzuki scooters can now run on E20 fuel and also fully meets the standards. He said that we are now working on making our entire vehicle portfolio compatible with E20 fuel in the coming period. Handa said that this is our first step to reduce green mobility and carbon footprint.
