The Raider is not a no-frills entry-level Raider, but a premium bike with a displacement of 125 cc.
TVS Raider: Thousands of bicycles are sold in India every month. Most people buy commuter segment bikes. These bikes have good mileage, which makes them easy to use on a daily basis. However, the youth prefer sporty looking bikes like the Pulsar and Apache. Both bikes have been making waves in the Indian market for many years, but now such a bike has arrived, giving both some stiff competition. This new sports bike looks very good and the price is also very low. The bike we are talking about is the TVS Raider.
TVS Raider was launched by the company just last year. Now the motorcycle has “choked” the Pulsar and Apache. If we look at last month’s sales, customers bought 27,233 Raider bikes. While 28,811 people bought Apache. Also, a little more 34,307 people bought Pulsar. Raider sales are not very low. Rather, Raider has left no stone unturned to compete with Apache and Pulsar.

Price and color options
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS has re-entered the 125cc motorcycle segment with the Raider. Loaded with several segment-first features, the Raider is more of a premium 125cc bike than a no-frills entry-level bike. The Raider 125 is available in three variants, with the drum brake model priced at Rs 85,973, the front disc brake model at Rs 93,489 and the SmartXonnect model at Rs 99,990. All prices are ex showroom Delhi. The sporty commuter bike is available in four different color variants: Striking Red, Blazing Blue, Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow.

Car-like functions are available in the bike
The Raider is feature rich with modern technology. It features fully digital instrumentation with real-time odometer, range, gear position with gear change indicator, helmet reminder, Eco and Power ride modes, three trip meters, odometer, clock, top and average speed recorder and fuel gauge. Apart from that, the top model gets a 5-inch TFT console with voice support. It features technologies such as Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and low fuel indicator, automatic navigation, weather updates, music control, call/message notifications and alerts, and cricket/news updates.
