New Delhi. Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India today launched the OBD-2 compliant Honda Shine 125 (2023 Honda Shine 125) in India. The price of this bike starts from Rs. 79,800 (ex showroom, Delhi). We would like to inform you that from April this year the government made OBD-2 compliant engines mandatory for all vehicles. That’s why vehicle manufacturers are bringing their new vehicles to market with on-board diagnostics (OBD-2) compliant technology. Honda Shine 125 was introduced with two variants and some special offers.
The company has launched the new Shine 125 with a 10-year warranty, adding 3 standard warranties and a 7-year extended warranty. However, customers will incur additional costs for the extended warranty. The 2023 Honda Shine 125 was launched in a total of five color options including Black, Genie Gray Metallic, Matt Axis Gray, Rebel Red Metallic and Decent Blue Metallic. Apart from the OBD-2 update, all of the bike’s features remain the same.

The company has used the updated 125cc engine in this bike in accordance with the new Real Driving Emission Norms (RDE norms). This engine produces 103 hp and 11 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. Explain that the company uses friction reduction technology to reduce friction in the engine, which helps keep engine temperatures down.

For the new Honda Shine 125, the company offers an ACG silent start engine, which starts the engine without making a loud noise. The bike features a halogen headlight with analog speedometer, fuel gauge, engine start/stop switch and halogen tail light. The bike gets tubeless tires with 18-inch alloy wheels. For safety, the bike was given a disc brake in the front wheel.

Honda Shine 125 is available in two variants including disc and drum variant. The disc variant is priced at Rs 83,800 and the drum variant is priced at Rs 79,800 (ex showroom, Delhi).
